Earn a Skowhegan Area High School Diploma through the Adult Education program. This credit-based program offers both traditional-style classes that meet once a week for 15 weeks, as well as competency-based courses where you learn at your own pace. Credits previously earned from high school or another adult education program count toward diploma requirements. Adults with life experience may earn credit for military service, work experience, and volunteer service. Diploma requirements may vary based on the year you would have graduated. To enroll in the High School Diploma Program, please call 474-7553 to schedule an appointment. Classes are available at no cost to the student. You may be required to pay a book deposit or for class supplies.

If you need to take a basic math class to prepare for college, then this course is for you. Biology w/Lab
Biology is a study of animal and plant systems. Learn the structure and functions of cells, molecules, energy, and heredity. Interaction of the living and nonliving environments is considered together with ecology, genetics, and evolution. This course can be taken for high school diploma credit and meets the prerequisite credit for KVCC and other colleges.
