MSAD 54 Skowhegan Area Classes

Computers, Keyboarding I & II

Keyboarding is a skill that has become increasingly important in the computer age. Keyboarding is essential for effective computer use. Adults who never felt they needed or wanted secretarial skills are now required to use computers in their work and find they must know keyboard and typing skills to do their jobs. Even those who simply wish to dabble online from their homes, sending E-mail and surfing the Internet need to know keyboarding skills. Keyboarding I students earn a certificate when they achieve 30 wpm. Keyboarding II is completed at 50 wpm.
