Pumpkin Landscapes

For this project, students began by looking at real pumpkins that I had brought in.  They had to draw the pumpkins so that some overlapped the others.  Students learned to make the pumpkins look round (three-dimensional) by changing the curve of the lines.  Students then had to put the pumpkins in an environment, such as the farm they came from, or someone’s yard, etc.
