Mrs. Farmer’s FLS (Functional Life Skill) class in North Elementary
school created self portraits and festive Fall colored trees.
“Self Portraits”:
A collage method was used to create the students nose and mouth. The shape
of the heads was pre drawn by Mr. Chin. Then the FLS students, encouraged
and guided by their individual teachers help in locating the facial parts, coloring
and drawing the details into the face. The results are a wonderful array
their portraits.
“Fall Trees”
Fall was so colorful this year, Mr. Chin brought in a variety of colored fall
leaves to show students the bright colors and textures. The pre drawn trees
were filled with primary colors of red, blue and yellow. Water crayons
were used to help students experiment with painting and how colors mixed by mixing
water to the colored drawings. |
