METAL FOIL TEXTURE DRAWINGS |
Students experimented on a new medium; copper and silver metal foil. Emphasis was to show the effects of texture and pattern with the impact of color. Students use a dull pencil or an ebony pencil to draw in the lines. The copper foil was placed on top of a workbook. This acts as a cushion for the lines to be drawn, which helps create a deep textured line in the foil. We hope you enjoy a small sampling of Mrs. Luce’s 4th grade art work. |
