Mrs.
Primmerman and Mrs. Conway’s student’s visual interpretation drew
tombs, scribes, animal symbolism, nobles, vizier (advisor to the Pharaoh), Pharaohs
and Queens. Using fine grain colored sand, and specially prepared paper,
students focused on some of the elements of art; line, shape, color, texture,
space. Unity, emphasis, movement, balance, pattern were some of the principles
of art used to organize and compose each scene.
