Duck Stamp

At the urging of Mr. Swindells, 4th-graders participated in this year’s National Fish and Wildlife Duck Stamp Contest. The rules and guidelines were strict – the paper had to be a certain size, the ducks and other waterfowl had to be of a certain breed, and they must be shown in plumage appropriate with the landscape around them. The students stepped up to the task and created these masterpieces, using a number of techniques to produce each material in their duck collage – including plastic forks and rock salt. Please let Miss Crosby know which your favorite is before we send them off to the capitol to be judged.
