2nd and 3rd-graders learned about Marc Chagall and his unusual style of art known as fantastic art.
Chagall had a great imagination, and he loved to include his dreams, memories, favorite stories, places, and people into his art. Often you can find a man doing something in his work who looks a lot like a young Marc Chagall.
Following Chagall’s lead, students created their own fantastic art – including favorite places, themselves doing a favorite activity, trees, flowers, suns, moons, hands, and other whimsical objects.
