5th and 6th graders learned all about pattern, repetition, and texture while doing this project. Texture is not only how something feels, it’s how something appears to feel as well.

After tracing their hands at least 8 times, students then filled the spaces creating by overlapping shapes with different patterns.  They could only use each design once, so they stepped up to the challenge by being extremely creative!
