Van Gogh-Inspired pictures

2nd and 3rd-graders closely studied Van Gogh’s Starry Night picture, observing tiny details, and how he created movement with his brushstrokes. Using watercolor and crayon resist, they created their own night skies, showing planets, stars, and wind. On top of the sky they glued their own villages, made with oil pastel on black paper.
