  • In the event of a 1 hour delay this winter, kindergarten students will come to school with grades 1-6 students and will remain on their normal daily schedule.  Please listen to TV/radio stations for delays or cancellations.
  • During the winter months, it will be helpful to listen to an early local radio or television channel in the event of a school delay or cancellation.  Ordinarily students who ride the bus begin to arrive  at  8:20,  with an hour delay students would begin to arrive at the school at around 9:20.  At that time, supervision of students begins.  When there is an hour delay, staff members are also allowed this hour to wait for the roads to be cleared and/or sanded before arriving at school.  Please do not privately transport your child (ren) to the school before the projected arrival of the buses.  Any privately transported students who arrive earlier than bus transported students (8:20/9:20) will need to remain with their parent/guardian/person who transported until the arrival of the buses and the start of student supervision duties (8:20/9:20).
  • Please help your child remember to wear boots, ski pants, jackets, mittens, and hats.  Also, please label slippers and other footwear to be kept at school.
  • It is helpful to send in or pack in a backpack, an extra set of clothing in to be kept in school for "emergency" situations.
  • Thank you to all who supported and participated in our P.T.F. fundraisers this fall.
  • Mrs. Ek, our box tops/soup label volunteer coordinator continues to collect from school and submit them to the companies on behalf on our school.  Thank you for sending the box tops/labels in to school with your child, and thank you Mrs. Ek!

Please do not hesitate to respond to this Newsletter. It would be nice to hear from our readers.
