Welcome to Cornville Elementary School!
The essential goal of our school is to have Cornville Elementary School be a
secure, pleasant, well-directed, active and nurturing environment in which our
students can learn, grow, and find personal value and respect.
We believe in a positive approach with students, using lots of praise and positive
feedback. When students do forget or break the rules, we first process with them
what they did, why it was not a good choice and discuss more appropriate alternatives.
Reasonable and logical consequences then occur. Our goal is to allow students
to become responsible decision makers and to understand the consequences of their
decisions.
We look forward to working with families in making sure each child's elementary
education is successful, positive and meaningful. You are encouraged to call
the school if there is any way we can be of help in this important endeavor.
