The 7th grade students will be doing an onsite study of the flora and fauna in the areas of The Gorge. We will using digital cameras and a local botanist to help us identify and label species along the river.  We will then use a GPS tool to label the location of each type of species we find. We will analyze the data in math through charts and graphs and then we will post the information on the web. Currently, the studies are based on general information the state has for an area. We will do this for different locations along the river so that the town will have real onsite data when choosing their input sites for the river project.
