Day care providers in MSAD 54 communities are invited to join a partnership with Title I to continue the many years of community outreach activities by Title I staff.

            The partnership has been created to advance the following goals:

• That day care providers would be respected as professionals who are in the forefront of early childhood education
• That day care providers would be offered information to help them and their client families prepare preschoolers to enter kindergarten
• That MSAD 54 would be represented by a familiar individual who would offer information and resources to the local day care providers

           The Title I Parent Outreach Coordinator makes two reading visits during the school year to each day care partner. The reading visits offer opportunities for the providers to ask questions and receive print resources.

           Loving Learning, a community organization, provides Title I with two new books for each day care visit. At present there are thirteen day care providers with over 100 children from infancy to age five who benefit from the partnership with Title I.
