Grief Support Resources

MSAD #54 is sad to share with you that one of our middle school students has recently passed away. As our community grieves this loss, MSAD #54 would like to offer sources of support available to your children.

District administration, guidance department staff, and local grief support will be available at SAMS starting on Monday, July 8th. They are also available to make referrals to local community providers as requested.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to your school administrator who will connect you with supports. Below is a list of local resources available, as well as resources on grief, and how to support a loved one that may be dealing with grief.

Our thoughts will remain with our student’s family, friends, and all those affected by this tragic loss.
