If you use Entourage for your email, you should follow these setup guidelines.

Step 1

Launch Entourage and choose "Accounts" from the Tools menu. The Accounts window will pop open.

Step 2

In the accounts window, select your school account. It will probably be the only thing there.

Step 3

Once you've selected your account, click the Edit button. The Edit Account window will pop open.

Step 4

In the Edit Account window, click the Account Settings tab.

Your settings should look exactly like these, except that you should replace schiasson (that's me!) with your own first initial and last name in the following fields:
• Name
• E-mail address
• Account ID
• Exchange server

Of course, you'll need to enter your own password in the Password field as well.

Step 5

In the same Edit Account window, click the Advanced tab.

This time, your settings should look exactly like these, with no variations. The string of text in the search base field is a bit hard to read, so I've also typed it out down below.

Please note that there are no spaces whatsoever in the string, and ANY mistake will cause connection problems.

Click OK when you finish.

Step 6

Close the Accounts window by clicking the red button in the upper left corner.
