Andrew Carnegie was born on November 25, 1835 in Dumfermline, Scotland. He lived with his parents,Margaret and William T. Carnegie. His family, including his younger brother Thomas Carnegie, lived in Dumfermline, Scotland.His dad had a job as a hand-loom weaver. His mother's dad was Thomas Morrison, he was a tanner and shoemaker. His brother died at the age of 43.
