A
WebQuest for 5-6 Grade
designed
by
Mr.
Pierce & Mrs. Jarvais
|
We have
read books that show how animals and people work
together and adapt to each other. In our readings
we have identified character traits important to
the growth of both animals and humans. In this
quest, we will attempt to see the importance of
environment and family in the development of these
traits.
|
|
Using
the links provided, you will read and research your
author and animal to gather information to
produce:
1. A letter
to the editor detailing the importance of one of
the identified character traits.
2. A poster
of your animal or of a character trait (i.e..
respect, responsibility, honesty, cooperation,
compassion, patience, commitment, and courage)
3. A
diorama showing your animal's habitat.

1. We would like to
thank MSAD#54 for offering technology training to
its professional staff. We feel this furthers our
mutual endeavors to provide the latest and most
effective methods of instruction for the Skowhegan
area children for the future of America and its
place in the world.
2. We would
especially like to thank Jeanie Mukai and Dorothy
Small for their tireless efforts and unfailing
patience. Without their able and professional
guidance none of the above would have been
possible. We would strongly recommend this course
to all educational professionals. Personally, we
look forward to expanding our knowledge of
technology.
3. We used the
following technology
programs: Microsoft Word's Word Art, Webquest
Template, Internet for website resources, clipart,
etc.
