Stem and Leaf Plot-

Used when looking for frequency

Number Line-
Used when looking for frequency, provides base for histogram

Histogram-
Used when looking for frequency

Box and Whisker-
Used when looking for pattern

Scatter Plot-
Used when looking for pattern

Time Ordered Plot-

Y=X line- Helps identify where the distribution of data is mostly seen and helps to identify the relationship between the data sets.

General Association Between Variables- This is used to help identify the relationships between sets of variables. These data sets would be plotted on scatter plots because the correlations is seen a little easier. A graph of the relationship between shoe size and weight would have no correlation, but a graph of the time of year and the temperature would have a correlation.
