supports many activities such as bowling, other field trips, picnics,
parties. We purchased a classroom computer and our own TV/VCR.
Our
Contributions
We make a public donations every year. We have contributed to the renovations
at Skowhegan Opera House, we donated money to the Drama Club's trip to Scotland,
the social studies project, Women to Women. We buy and wrap presents for needy
children. We bought $200 worth of
supplies for the service men in Iraq. We contributed to the Vest-A-Dog Project.
Last year we contributed $400 to the Jay Aubin Scholarship Fund and this year
we donated $100 to Tyler Sterling for his operation.
We also buy our yearbooks, pay our class dues and buy Breakfast Cart Team jackets
for each member of the Breakfast Cart Team.
Benefits to us are
What we learn in Breakfast Cart is the value of hard work, team work, and sharing
with other less fortunate than ourselves and the valuable lesson of paying our
own way. We also have an opportunity to positively interact with the student
body in other sections of the school.
