Eligibility Standards
for Athletics and Extracurricular Activities
There are many different sports to take part
in at SAHS, but all athletes on all teams must follow the athletic code. Students
who are candidates for interscholastic sports teams must have a physical examination
by a licensed physician prior to the beginning of tryouts of the sport. Physical
exams are effective for two years.
SAHS has a large band which is involved in
many activities throughout the year. The band performs at rallies, football and
basketball games, and school and public concerts.
There is a wide variety of club activities
offered at SAHS. Students are encouraged to participate in one or more of these
