§      Taught ninth grade English and eleventh grade American Literature.

§      Planned, created, and implemented unit, lesson, and classroom management plans, which are aligned with the district curriculum and Maine’s learning results.

§      Worked on department curriculum and assessment in order to align with the Maine Learning Results.

 

2000–2003                           Mountain Valley High School                    Rumford, ME

Teacher

§      Taught ninth grade Humanitas (an integrated course with History) and tenth grade world literature.

§      Created unit and daily lesson plans and implemented classroom management plans, which were aligned with district curriculum and the Maine Learning Results.

§      Worked as the freshmen class advisor, SWAT (Students Working Against Tobacco) advisor, and PRIME Time (Personal Responsibility and Individual Mentoring Experience) advisor.
