Journals

  • done over a long period of time.
  • contains description of work----useful why or why not.
  • record data.
  • notes on problem solving.
  • record of useful web sites.

Lab Test

  • uses variety of choices.
  • limits search.
  • test procedures given.
    1.) test to run
    2.) sampling procedure
  • data shown in form of charts,maps,and / or graphs.
  • identifies offending agent.
  • states concentration in appropriate value.
  • compares test standards to concentration results.
  • is your sample a health hazard?

Isolation of Contaminants

  • states origin of contaminant.
  • possible conclusion based on history of area.
  • conclusion includes maps of surroundings.
  • articles that helped solve the problem.

Corrective action

  • preventing further contamination.
  • scientific basis stated.
