Welcome! In math, the basics need to be mastered through repeated practical applications. Beyond this, it's challenging students to do assigned math activities that require measuring, estimating, and calculating in and outside the classroom. When possible, lessons are designed to integrate math with other subjects - science, geography, language arts, technology, etc. As each assignment is completed, it goes into a personal classroom folder to be assessed by the math teacher for completeness, organization, correctness and neatness. Through the course of two years, math lessons will travel through basic math, geometry and algebra.
