Bolivia's Social Classes

There are four social classes in Bolivia. They are the Elites, the Middle Class, the Cholos or Working Class, and the Campesinos(the Poor Class).

Elite:

The Elite social class is the smallest social class in Bolivia. Most of the Elites speak only Spanish. They live in Modern apartments or Spanich style houses. Most of the people in this class have been wealthy for many generations and own many acres of land.

Middle Class:

The Middle Class of Bolivia highly resembles that of the Elite Class, but the life of a Middle Class man/woman is much less luxurios.

Cholos-

The Cholo class of Bolivia is the Working class. Many of them have Farms and raise crops to sell. They have Spanish and/or Indian Traditions, and they usually speak Spanish and a Native language. they usually live in Houses made of adobe with a tile or metal roof. They often live in very crowded neighborhoods called barrios.

Campesinos -

Campesinos make up the Largest social class in Bolivia.Campesinos are poor people who farm for a living. They usually have a Subsistence farms with hardly enough food to Feed the family. They weave textiles and make pottery to try to make some extra money. the live in houses made of adobe with thatch roofs.
