Here we take a look at our skills, hobbies, values, jobs to try, personality styles, and dreams. Students will create a brochure and come up with some jobs which best match who they are.

In order to find a job that is good for you, you've first got to know what is out there. We are going to look at some different jobs that people have and present them to our class.

Reflection

Students will be looking for a need in their community. The need should be something people would like to have done for them and be willing to pay someone else to do. After students find a need to fill they will develop a business card, a web page, and possibly a commercial to spotlight their business. MLR A3: Demonstrate an understanding of the characteristics of a successful business.
