Brookside Farm is a four acre farm with a 30x100 green house, that is located
in North Anson, Maine, not too far from the Carrabec School.
In the green house there are rows of vegetables: small, big
and organic.
The green house is an all weather greenhouse for year-round
use. Outside on the driveway, by the main road, there is a
sign for
Brookside Farm and a saying: “Grown in harmony with nature”.
This means that no pesticides are used in the growing process.
This
farm offers many vegetables to the public. Amazingly, this
four acre farm is run and cared for by only one person.
Product offerings:
A variety of seasonal vegetables are offered each week. Here are a few examples:
Heirloom Tomatoes
Raspberries
Greens - spring mix and spinach
