Our Assignment...

Maine Wabanaki People

Congratulations! You have been chosen to represent the Wabanaki of Maine. This is a very important job because these are the descendants of the original inhabitants of our state. In order to complete this task, your group will be researching and creating a presentation in keynote, iMovie, iWeb or a program of your choice and approved by the teacher.

You will be conducting research on the Wabanaki people. When you are at the computer station you will be establishing communication with the Native American communities in Maine.

Phase 1 / Reading and note taking. These notes will be passed in with your final paper.

Phase 2 Writing your paper on the Abenakis of Norridgewock

Your final presentation should be based on the information you have researched. It should be both informative and entertaining. Graphics, text and sound may all be included.

Good luck to all of you!
