Quite a while ago, there was a neat way to get logs to the mills. This way was by river.One of these rivers was the Kennebec that starts at Moose head Lake and goes clear down to the Atlantic Ocean. Logging was a very dangerous job. If you slipped and fell on the logs chances are you'd fall between the logs and you would not be able to get out and you'd die.
