When we acted like brats

and swatted their gnats

What a wonderful helpful boss!

When we said that we really liked flying

It was true and we really weren't lying.

But then you arrived

and we barely survived

and all through the night we were crying.

While the night had been really quite boring

The sun did come up in the morning.

Not many had slept

and your hair was unkempt

we really could have used a warning.

So if you get planning another

remember to all ask your mother.

But in spite of it all

we did have a ball

and we promise we won't run for cover.
