Benjamin Franklin was a famous inventor during America's history.Benjamin Franklin was born in Boston,Massachusetts in January 17,1706.He was the youngest of seventeen children.He was an apprentice to his brother , James, a printer, from 1723-1730.Ben Franklin spent two years in school. Benjamin Franklin had many goals and dreams.Some were to see if electricity and lighting were the same.He was also was going to free people from taxes.Benjamin Franklin was a thinker and a successful inventor.He was successful on three invention's: the lighting rod that saved peoples houses from lighting, the first glasses that helped him read and the stove that produced more heat. Benjamin Franklin died on April 17,1790.Twenty thousand people attended his funeral.

Benjamin Franklin is remembered for flying a kite in a storm, inventing the glasses, the first lighting rod,and the Franklin stove. We still use many of these things today.We will always be thankful to Benjamin Franklin, a great American inventor.
