      Animal Bytes provides information, videos, and images about many different classifications of animals their characteristics, habitats, ecosystems, geographical location, and conservation status. Students will use this website for research.

      Critter guides offers both basic and unique facts about many animals. It also provides useful information on the social environment each animal is comfortable in.
 
MBGnet, Biomes of the World

      Biomes of the World will provide a look into all the Biomes of the world. Be sure to use the menu at the left to see a description of the biome, animals that live there and where in the world the biome is located.

      SCZ Animals offers information about many animals in outline form. The format makes it easy to find the information. Images are limited but artistically done.

Enchanted Learning is a great site for the lower reader. This site includes information about other animals but in this project it is best used for research about mammals. The teacher may want to be sure lower readers are assigned animals that are included in this site.

      NATURE Postcards provides a fun email activity that will allow the learner to send a picture of an animal and message to someone they know.

KRATT’S CREATURES “Create Your Own Adventure, Be A Creature”

         “Create your Own Adventure, Be a Creature,” allows the student time to create a personalized creature adventure. Students will enter in the words of their choice according to each description. When all words are entered a click of a button will create a story.
 
KRATT’S CREATURES “Who Lives Here”

      “Who Lives Here,” is a game that allows the student to place animals in the country they live in. While simple, it is a good review of geography and where animals live on the planet.
