Dear Parents & Guardians,

Greetings!  On behalf of our teachers and staff, we look forward to a successful school year educating your children.  Besides all of our great teachers returning, our newest additions to the teaching staff are Mrs. Tara Blue (grade 2) transferring from Grade 1 at Cornville, Miss Selina Greene (grade 3), Miss Alician Hoyt (grade 4), and Miss Anne-Marie Perry (grade 3).

Miss Marci Williams and Mrs. Amy McDougal will run the before and after school program at Bloomfield sponsored through KVCAP.

Also this year we have three physical education teachers; Mr. Tim Christopher, Mr. Mike Herrick, Mrs. Lisa Moore. The art teachers will be Mr. Matt Charland, Miss Lisa Ingraham, and Mrs. Kathy Smith.  Ms. Gail Kelly and Mr. Mark Ranger will oversee the music programs.

Mrs. Kathy Grant is our full time secretary and Mrs. Talia Fitzpatrick will be helping in our office from 8:00 to 11:15.  Office hours are from 8:00 to 4:00 p.m. daily.  Mrs. Sherry Arris is our new day custodian.

As I mentioned in my previous letter of August 19th, our schools will be on a K-12 single bus run.  The official school starting time will be 8:30 to 2:30. If you are transporting your child to school, the earliest he/she may arrive is 8:15.  There will be no supervision for our commuters, until that time. I would ask that you follow these time frames, if you choose to have your child use another form of transportation to school. Also, breakfast will be served for our commuters at 8:15 a.m. 

 Parent pick-up will be in the gym at 2:30. Mrs. McGowan and Mrs. Niles will assist you. If you need a pass stop in at the office and Mrs. Grant or Mrs. Fitzpatrick will assist you.

We are planning on our open house Wednesday, September 15th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. This will be a very busy week for our students, teachers and staff.  The following dates should also be noted.

              -Monday, September 13th – 17th is our Scholastic Book Fair

              -Thursday, September 16th is our Picture Day J!

              -Friday, September 17th is our annual Grandparent’s Luncheon
