Job Description

Adult Education – Teacher of English Language Learners

Part Time (Afternoon/Evenings)

RSU 54 Adult & Community Education is looking for a part-time (two days per week) instructor to teach an English Language Learner class starting in September 2024.

Responsibilities will focus on helping students who are not native English speakers acquire basic communication skills: beginning reading, writing and technology competencies for routine life, social and workplace situations.

Instruction will be online. Experience with remote instruction desirable.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Maine Adult Education or K-12 certification. Adult Education and/or ELL certification and prior experience preferred.

26 weeks, 3-4 hours/week. Pay will be $25/hour.
